Terry is the Chief Operating Officer of Oxford Brain Diagnostics, a spinout company from the University of Oxford, that brings together the physics of MRI imaging with world-leading expertise in neuropathology and neurodegenerative diseases. With an early focus on Alzheimer’s Disease, the team’s goal is to accelerate drug development and provide clinical support to help millions of patients around the world.

Previous to his current role, Terry spent more than 20 years working with academics in Oxford and around the world to transfer disruptive new innovations out of research labs and accelerate their commercialisation, raising funding and working with industry partners. He was a member of the team that started Oxford Catalysts, a company active in the renewable energy space, and was then based for several years in Singapore and Malaysia, working with leading research groups in the region. He has mentored young entrepreneurs for the Royal Academy of Engineering and worked with the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).

Terry is a member of the Institute of Physics having originally studied physics at the University of Bristol, and has an MBA from Imperial College London.
