Sarah has a long history in the Chamber Movement and is a great advocate for the power of business for good. Sarah became Chair in of the BCC in 2019 and in challenging times is working with her teams to support the growth and prosperity of their members and their communities.

She has a particular interest in skills development and bringing more diversity into the Boardroom and is currently working closely with Neurodiversity in Business. She was awarded the MBE in 2015 for her work on skills development for young people.

With a background in management consultancy Sarah has worked for high profile organisations including JP Morgan and KPMG.

She is currently working with two startups in education and biotech.

She chairs a large not for profit leisure trust and is a governor at an outstanding FE college.
