James is Head of Corporate Affairs for Workday in the UK, where he is responsible for the company’s engagement with politicians and policymakers.

He began his career in the National Health Service and the IT services company Xansa, before spending fifteen years in a range of roles at Hewlett Packard, latterly as HP's Director of Corporate Affairs for the UK & Ireland and four years in the policy team at Amazon Web Services.

James is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in the Policy Institute at King's College London.
