Carolyn Ten Holter read law at New College, Oxford, then moved into marketing communications in a variety of industries, including start-up finance, oil & gas exploration modelling and hi-tech PR. She was head of marketing at law firms in the City of London and in Oxford. While completing her Masters, she worked on the ORBIT project, which trains researchers in the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation. Carolyn commenced her DPhil studies in responsible quantum computing in October 2019 and joined the Responsible Technology Institute as a Research Assistant in November 2020. She now works on the RoAD project, which looks at autonomous vehicle data collection.
