Why the time is right to licence builders

The UK construction industry has much about which to be proud but its image continues to be damaged by media stories of incompetent builders, dissatisfied buyers of new build homes and, recently, the serious questions raised by the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety set up in the wake of the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
