Jennifer Pheasey is Head of Policy at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). Jennifer’s teams cover Policy, Economics, Trade, Government Affairs in UK and the organisations Brussels Office. Jennifer’s role includes engagement with a breadth of political and other stakeholders, as well working closely with SMMT’s automotive members – most recently leading the organisation’s COVID-19 Taskforce and the Competitiveness and Industrial Strategy workstreams. As a champion for automotive, Jennifer is driven by her engagement with colleagues across industry and promoting sector’s critical role in the UK economy and employment. Previous roles held by Jennifer include government affairs at EEF (now Make UK) and the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in London.
